Webroot antivirus comes as a full security suite ready for deployment from Pulseway WebApp with a single click of a button. The process itself is designed to be quick, user friendly and errorproof as much as possible.
However, sometimes it happens that a new licence is not recognised correctly and returns the ‘Licence Expired’ error in Agent Status view.
Would that ever occur please open the https://my.webrootanywhere.com provide your username and password and navigate to Sites section where you can check if you are using the correct site key and the licence has not expired for the site. In case you would like to convert from trial to full version please follow the link.
In case of the latter, the first step to correct the issue is to uninstall Webroot AV from affected system.
Once Webroot AV has been removed from the system, please sign in and start the registry editor and navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Addons and delete the whole number 2 section in Addons.
Upon completion please do the same for Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Nod\webroot
Once all of the above registry keys have been removed go to C:\Program Files\Pulseway\AV
and manually reinstall Webroot AV using the wsasme.msi package installer.
During the installation process you’ll be asked to provide your Webroot licence key (you should be able to find it in original email from Webroot or on your online Webroot account https://my.webrootanywhere.com)
The final step is the sign in back to Pulseway WebApp, navigate to the Antivirus section followed by Agent Status and select Install to reregister the Webroot licence with Pulseway
